TYPE OF NOZZLE

SHUT OFF NOZZLE

The nozzle closing mechanism is controlled by control system of IMM, the mechanism is driven pneumatically or hydraulically.

 CHARACTERISTIC

  • Shorter cycle = increased productivity
  • Prevents material leakage during plasticisation
  • Prevents material leakage during vertical injection
  • Applicable for special applications with blowing agent
  • Can be used with higher back pressure – better mixing
  • Option to retrofit the nozzle with a filter sieve

SHUT OFF NOZZLE – SPRING LOADED

The nozzle closing mechanism is operated by spring, opening or closing is arranged by injection pressure

CHARACTERISTIC:

  • Reduce cycle time = productivity increase
  • Prevents material leakage during plasticisation
  • Prevents material leakage during vertical injection moulding
  • Can be used with higher back pressure – better mixing


MIXING NOZZLE – VORTEX

Thanks to the special nozzle design, maximum dynamic mixing of the melt is achieved. The mixing element inside the nozzle is not statically mounted and thanks to this design it rotates at high speed during the melt flow, resulting in perfect mixing of the material.

  • Easy cleaning, no need to disassemble and manually clean the nozzle thanks to the self-cleaning function

MIXING NOZZLE – RHOMBUS

The mixing of the melt and the dye takes place through the rhombic elements. Due to the constant splitting and merging of the melt flow, there is a cross-mixing effect and an increase in the MFI of the melt.

CHARACTERISTIC:

  • One element increases the mixing effect by up to 20% (maximum number of elements is 5)
  • Filtration of small impurities
  • Choice of hole diameter of diamond elements (1.5 – 3 mm)
  • Low loss of injection pressure
  • Increase the melt flow index (MFI)
  • Comfortable dye change

FILTER NOZZLE

Filters impurities that occur in materials and protects mould hot runners

VCHARACTERISTIC:

  • Filtration of impurities
  • Low loss of injection pressure
  • Filters impurities in the range of 0.5 mm to 3 mm (depends on filter type)
  • Protection of the mould hot runner system against damage
